SYDNEY: Toshiba (Australia) Pty Limited today announced that Toshiba is now an official sponsor of the Rugby World Cup 2015, making it the third consecutive time that the company has participated as a sponsor.

The event will be held in England and Wales from September 18 until October 31, 2015 and will play a total of 48 matches to determine who the rugby world champions will be.

Toshiba’s association spans the breadth of its business domains including social infrastructure, air conditioning, multi-functional printers, digital products and medical imaging devices. In addition, Toshiba will support the tournament by providing a range of products to support the running of the event.

In the build up to and during the tournament, Toshiba will initiate a range of activities to promote this partnership and to engage spectators with the event. Toshiba branded perimeter boards will feature at each of the matches throughout the tournament as well as a range of marketing activities focussing on regions where rugby is most popular, which include Europe, Japan, Oceania and Africa.
